Dear Sue,
By chance, I came across your blog and was impressed by your meticulous record-keeping. I am a student studying Parkinson’s disease in Korea. As part of my assignment, I will be visiting Washington, D.C. from August 4th to August 9th to conduct 50 interviews, exploring the unmet needs of Parkinson’s patients in the United States. Therefore, I respectfully request your permission for an interview to ascertain the needs of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, I wanted to inquire if you could assist me in getting in touch with other Parkinson’s patients for further interviews. we could arrange a Zoom meeting. Your valuable time and cooperation would be greatly appreciated.
If our request has been well-received, we sincerely appreciate your generous help.
Please feel free to reply to me or contact me through my email: xocius@gmail.com.May health and happiness always be with you.

Dear Sue
If you would be kind enough to grant permission, I can send you the Zoom link for the interview, or we can conduct the interview through this chat right now. It’s crucial for the success of this interview as it will enable us to create items for Parkinson’s patients. Your assistance is sincerely appreciated. Please, I kindly ask for your help.Aug 05, 2023 – 07:33 pm

In May of 2018, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's. After researching, I believe the symptoms began to manifest themselves years prior to last year. The purpose for my blog is to share what I have learned (with an index) to save others time as they seek for answers about, symptoms, therapies [and alternative things to try], tools I use, Parkinsonisms, recipes, strategies, clinical studies, words of encouragement or just enjoy the photos or humor.

  1. Sue,This is pretty amazing!  I am assuming you are requesting that I put something in the newsletter this week I think it will be too late for the time frame mentioned since it goes out on August 10th. “……..visiting Washington, D.C. from August 4th to August 9th to conduct 50 interviews, exploring the unmet needs of Parkinson’s patients in the United States. ” Now that we have our new website, announced at the Bradenton meeting on Thursday, perhaps we could use the website to solicit input.   We are refraining from putting anyone’s contact info directly in the website, but could encourage folks to “Contact Us”  which would enable us to get their names to you directly.

If you have not seen the website it is https://parkinsonsthevillages.com/   Check it out. In addition, I am copying Cynthia and Ed to solicit their opinions as well. Perhaps we could see if there are folks here in the Villages groups who might want to volunteer on short notice.    At the current time Ed is managing the website. Stay tuned…… and thanks again for your outreach and the service/resources you provide PWP via your blog. Rose
